A Very Happy Easter to our Family and Friends

So, yesterday was April Fools day, fantastic day that it was.......We had a rough one, decided to meet my sister in law for lunch in Los Banos (1/2 way between our houses) and as Cake and I were driving back the truck died, and I don't mean had a little problem, literally died, apparently we had no oil (yeah, don't make any girl jokes here, I am still a bit peeved about this) and well, no oil is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad for engines, so now, we have to replace it, because there is no way we can afford a new car right now, so this is the lesser of the two evils......Haven't gotten a estimate from the car place yet, but as my brother in law has been pricing out the engine block itself and its looking like between 1200 and 2000 just for the engine alone, I am thinking the shop will have a field day with this one. The good news is, well, I suppose I should be thankful for many things actually:

1. Cake, baby to be and I are ok
2. Family is awesome (everyone, and I mean everyone came to our rescue yesterday)
3. One brother in law has AAA and we are going to be able to get the truck towed from Los Banos to Fresno where.
4. Another brother in law will replace the engine for us.

I know I should be thankful for all the good that happened with this, and, its just really hard right now, because dangit, we could use any bit of money we have to go towards bills, we are just trying to get out of debt darnit! We could use a break here (again, must remember what I am thankful for as really, we are getting a break considering).

What a pisser.
